Each and every one of us is born with the innate ability to communicate with the world around us. When we are infants and in our first few years of life, this is the natural state of the world within which we live. This communication is done through our psychic awareness and is done effortlessly. It is our Spirit, our Soul, our essential Being, devoid of ego and conditioning by the world around us that links with all living things around us.
This ability to communicate with animals and nature is usually squashed in each of us by the time we enter kindergarten and for the majority of us, never returns. However, it is a gift that all of us can salvage, given time, effort and, most essentially, an open mind. Developing our psychic gifts can help, but it's a process of reconditioning ourselves from the thoughts that are prevelent in our culture and society. Detatching from those thought patterns is the most difficult part of the process for anyone.
